Sprite · image → checked mesh

Step one of a game sprite set: a picture becomes a checked mesh.

What this is

Step one of a game sprite set. One picture becomes a 3D mesh, which is then measured — with numbers, not a model's opinion — for the flat-cutout failure, coloured, and photographed from the eight game headings plus a top view. You confirm the mesh before anything is animated, because animating a bad mesh wastes the expensive half.

Running it yourself

Same worker as Image → 3D model: gpu/hunyuan3d-worker/ in the repo, which dispatches on input.op. This is op: "mesh". The nested preview and qa objects in the file below are the thresholds the worker clamps against — tune them there rather than in code. Host it on RunPod.

You give it

  • One picture of the character

You get back

  • A GLB
  • Stills from the eight game headings plus a top view
  • A measured quality report

A character facing the camera, arms clear of the body. Overlapping limbs read as one lump to a shape model.
