Sprite · image → checked mesh

Step one of a game sprite set: a picture becomes a checked mesh.

What it takes

  • One picture of the character

What it gives back

  • A GLB
  • Stills from the eight game headings plus a top view
  • A measured quality report

What actually runs

  • Hunyuan3D-2 makes the shape; colours are either projected from your picture or painted on the GPU, depending on tier.
  • The mesh is then MEASURED — not judged by a model — for the flat-cutout failure, with numbers you can see.
  • You confirm the mesh before anything is animated, because animating a bad mesh wastes the expensive half.

Worth knowing. A character facing the camera, arms clear of the body. Overlapping limbs read as one lump to a shape model.

Running it

The .json attached to this listing is the graph itself — the one the Forge runs, not a tidied-up copy. Values in {{double braces}} are the placeholders filled in per job; replace them with real values and it runs in any ComfyUI new enough for the nodes it uses.

Full setup — the model manifest, the directories, the traps — is at /workflows/sprite_mesh.

Licence and credit

The graph is ours and you may use it for anything, including commercially. The models it loads are not ours: each carries its own licence from whoever trained it, and that is the one that governs what you may do with the output.
